Do you have something you’d like to share on the MyTravelcrush blog? We are looking for guest bloggers interested in contributing to our website. Our guidelines are outlined below.
What We Accept
Sometimes we look for specific topics, but generally we are always interested in articles about travel and black culture.
Article submission topics include:
1. Travel – destinations , people, culture, food
2. Black Traveler experience
3. Travel trends or tips
4. Savings tips and techniques
5. Hotel reviews
Articles must be original and unique, and post ready without the need to edit. MyTravelCrush reserves the right to modify articles that are too long or that are incongruent with our needs, values, etc.
Your submission is exclusive to MyTravelCrush , so we don’t allow reposting of the same article to your blog or any other site. However, we do encourage you to post a link to the guest article on your own blog.
FYI: One link in the “Guest post by area linking back to your website or blog is acceptable. In post links are NOT allowed.
Guest Post Format
Web readers have short attention spans, thus all submissions must be roughly between 800-1500 words.
At the end of your article, you may include a 3-4 sentence bio of yourself with headshot.

Q: When will the article be published?
A: Generally, we like to post to our blog on Friday mornings.
Q: Do I get final say over how the article looks?
A: All submissions may be revised or edited.
Q: Can changes be made after the article is published?
A: Sure, if there are minor edits, just let us know.
Expectations
You will need to read and answer readers’ comments. Having you, the guest author, answer comments will ensure credibility and a better response.
You should promote your post on social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Stumpleupon, even Pinterest allows pinning of posts.
You should post a link to your guest article on your own blog or website to inform your readers about your article.
