THAILAND

November 17, 2017 – November 25, 2017

Zipline. Monk Chat. Volunteer. Island Hopping. Cooking Class.

We’re headed back to Thailand in November 2017 and this time we’ll be in Chiang Mai AND Phuket… in the same trip! The group will meet in Bangkok, then head to Chiang Mai, a rich cultural center in Northern Thailand, where we will volunteer, zip line through the jungle, and even chat it up with our favorite monk!

But of course, that’s only to whet our appetite. We will then fly to Phuket where we will enjoy the remaining time in the sun and sand. From a Thai cooking class on a private beach to island hopping across some of the most stunning waters, we hope to show you the best in Thai culture, natural beauty, cuisine, and adventure.

After learning about the home, their backgrounds, and their on-going projects, we will assist in the income-generating workshops that empower these women during trying times.

Enjoy learning about and helping with the different crafts they create, as well as getting to know those in the community.community in a special, one-day project.

Are you curious about Buddhism and Thai culture? What better way to learn these things than by chatting with monks! Here’s your opportunity to ask anything and get a true understanding of this beautiful culture, as well as supporting the monk’s English conversational skills.
